‍Boyle experiments with new techniques, styles and mediums, embracing “happy mistakes” to keep her work fresh and playful. When her process feels formulaic, she shifts direction, allowing each artwork to emerge from a different life phase or emotional state. She carries elements forward, rooted in the primal, storytelling, life’s dualities and a quiet sense of humour, while acknowledging the shadow that accompanies us all. We adore the painting we bought from Alice in 2021, 'Today's Been a Good Day'. We bought it on a visit to the Other Art Fair, which meant we were able to meet the artist and chat about her work. The painting itself is glorious - playful, vibrant and full of character. Every time I look at it I'm reminded of the day we bought it, which had been a good day, as we'd received some good news after an anxious wait. To have such a beautiful piece in our home, reminding of us of such a good day, is a true pleasure.

We came to discover Alice's work at an art fair, and it stayed in our mind during the entire visit, with a growing fear that someone else would get one of her beautiful paintings. At the first sight I enjoy Alice's paintings at an abstract level: beautiful colors and shapes, unconstrained by the projections of representation. At another level, the paintings do have a layer of figuration, which varies depending on the paintings. The one I chose displays funny characters that look like punk birds with piranha teeth.

We are thrilled to have met Alice and her incredible artwork 2 years ago at The Other Art Fair. It has been 2 years since we purchased our amazing artwork, 'All Creatures Great and Small' from her and to date we still look at it and tell each other how much we love it. We are looking to buy a new one from her sometime soon hopefully as we love her style and point of view. Thank you so much for bringing joy and energy to our home daily. I purchased two paintings from Alice in 2021 after falling in love with her work months earlier. I connected with her pieces instantly, and they’re even more stunning in person with their depth and texture. The buying process was smooth, with great communication from Alice. Nothing was too much trouble, including a frame colour change. The paintings were shipped to Somerset and arrived beautifully packed and in perfect condition. I’m thrilled with the experience. Friends and visitors always comment on them, and I know I’ll be buying another piece — I absolutely love her work.

I have brought a good few number of Alice's works of originals and prints over the last few years and I will do so again. I continue to be inspired by her abstract style and forever changes in bright spontaneous colors and shapes. It brings a big smile to my face when I see them adorning my House Walls and I am positively sure it would to anyone who has a chance to acquire these little fun treasures. If you get the chance when viewing her website please do look at how she has progressed as an artist

It was such a lovely experience working with Alice to purchase her beautiful painting as a surprise gift for my wife to hang in holistic health and wellness clinic. The entire purchase process was professional and fast – and the piece arrived in a shipping crate better-constructed than most houses I’ve lived in! Alice was very communicative, and was not satisfied until we had the painting safely in our possession. It is a beautiful piece – and Laurie gets lots of comments about it from her patients. We’d definitely recommend working with Alice!
